Running a Photo shooting in the Butterfly farm

On february this year, I decided it was time to ask my two favorite photographers and friends, Daniela Rangel and Jose Rosales from http://www.sweetcaribbeanphoto.com to help me out with a very artistic proyect:

A PHOTOSHOTING AT THE BUTTERFLY FARM.

The creative mind behind this project was me.

Ever since I started working with the farm in Cancun to provide Butterfly Release services for my clients I´ve been wanting to do this.

And finally we had many butterflies ready and I could call a group of my cute and good looking friends to help me out with the shooting.

HERE SOME OF THE BACK STAGE PICS THAT
DANY & JOSE TOOK of US:

The idea was simple. Take shoots of the 4 stages of the butterfly cycle: egg, caterpillar, pupa and butterfly.

Have kids looking at the butterflies closer, as they can DO with our UNIQUE EDUCATION PROJECT: learning from nature. We go to schools and teach kids about the importance of butterflies in nature, they learn about some of the main species in the area and finally release their butterfly.

This class can be either in english or spanish and its great for kindergarden and elementary school.

My main model was my BEST friend from Norway Solveig Dolen Nesje.
It was her first experience modeling but with my photographers magic lens she turned out to be a SUPER MODEL.

This was an amazing experience, because I´m really used in planning and coordinating weddings and events, but a photo shooting is something else we worked from 9am to 5pm and it was really worth
it!!!

I have many projects like this that I´ve done along the way, I will be sharing them One STEP at a TIME.
