You know how they say time is money, right. Well knowledge saves you time, and also BIG bucks.
It's well known to travelers that most countries commonly apply a "tourist" rate to foreigners. This one is no secret. It not only happens in my country, I've had the same strange "rule" applied to me in other countries. Where friends just say, let me do the talking; you'll get a different rate/price because of your accent.

Distance may sometimes make you wonder, how can something be done exactly the way you want it, if you are not there to make it happen. Well this is why you must find an Expert on the Destination.
An expert will not waste the time, but use it at your favor. They will have a plan of the wedding, and give you options and details so you can start choosing with time your options.

Your Destination Wedding Expert will arrange Vendor meetings, so you can see, taste, smell and listen to your choices and decide weather you want them or not. this is usually my favorite part of the planning, because most of the couples have very little expectations and when I succeed them by far its the greatest feeling of them all.

You must find a person who has empathy with you. To show empathy is to identify with another's feelings. It is to emotionally put yourself in the place of another. The ability to empathize is directly dependent on your ability to feel your own feelings and identify them.

Wedding planners are like shoes, you may love how they look on you, but if you are not comfortable walking in them, you will suffer along the way. Keep it simple, its all about the vibes and the recommendations.
