My fair lady wedding inspiration

I don't know about you, but ME I'm a
HUGE fan of classic hollywood golden era.
The dresses, the glam, the elegance ...

This weekend I watch for the 20th time (more or less)
Audrey Hepburn at MY FAIR LADY

a classic that will never grow old, at least not for me.

But this time I watched it from a peculiar point of view,
yes you guessed right, from my wedding planner's point of view
and the result is amazing inspiration.

Im all in for the elegance and
the romance of the era.

I could not keep my eyes away from her Dresses,
particularly the white one
she wears for the
"Embassy Ball"

I went all crazy about
the dress and told
my whole family,
there you go I think I
found my perfect wedding dress.

Not that I 'm about to marry or anything yet, but
you know us girls,
I couldn't help it
Its just too damn
perfect for me!!!

So I thought I could share a few photos courtesy
of Warner Bros. pictures

I hope you find the dress as inspiring as I did
and well maybe you can pour us some tea
and sip as we enjoy this adorable "Eliza Doolittle"
a simple flower girl become a real
princess.

Vision Board 2012

Definition: A vision board is a collage of

things you want in your life.

If you're using your vision board for goals, your pictures will be symbolic to the things you wish to achieve.

The Secret tells the story of John Assarf, who created some vision boards for the things he wanted to achieve in his life. Five years later, he pulled some of the boards out of boxes packed away in his home, only to realize that the home he was living in was actually pictured on one of the vision boards.

Yesterday a group of friends and I gathered around a mountain of magazines, paper clips, tape, glue, markers, colors, glitter and
we put all our heart into creating our inspirational boards for this 2012.

I am so happy with the results I really wanted to share with you this project.
I'm sure many of you do it and if you don't,
well go ahead try it its amazing, a great feeling!!!

The great part of this project is that this is really a
very cool thing to do for your wedding.
A vision board and get everything in there,
what you wish to have, what you already know you
will have and write next to the pictures and photos the
real things you want to achieve.

Next to every goal put a little square,
so once you already complete this task you can mark the BOX with a

If you already have your cool WEDDING VISION BOARDS

it all starts with a KISS: FYI

I think of myself as a romantic person, I really had to know how did the custom of kissing start. And as we all know Google is our best friend (most of the time) when learning things you are curious about; so I looked it up.

And most of the information tells mostly the same story:

The custom of kissing swept from France through Europe to Russia, where Russian nobility loved to ape the French. Eventually, the kiss was incorporated into marriage ceremonies, and today lip-locks couples into

sweet matrimony.

The custom of kissing today, as well as in ancient times, serves to show respect, and to pay homage to another. For example, early Romans kissed each other on the mouth or on the eyes to greet one another in a manner they deemed to be a dignified. One Roman emperor even ranked a person's importance by the body part he was allowed to kiss. He allowed important nobles to kiss his lips, less important ones to kiss his hands, and the least

important ones to kiss his feet.

In Russia, the highest sign of recognition from the Crown meant a kiss from the Tsar himself. Today, natives of many African tribes pay homage to their Chief by kissing the ground over which he has walked.

Over time, the custom of kissing developed as a way for adults to express their love and affection for one another. The roots of this form of affection can be traced back to primitive times, when mothers fondled their children, much as mothers do today.
Much later, in the sixth century, society apparently accepted the custom of kissing between adults as an expression of their affection. Not surprisingly, France first accepted kissing in courtship, and in amore. There, figure dancing was the rage, and each dance was sealed with a kiss.

Now you know every time you kiss you are keeping one of the oldests traditions of mankind alive!!!

XX ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE.
