AUSTRALIA meets the Riviera Maya: CHIO+JAMES a love from down under

Chio + her Dad before walking down the isle...

AMAZING CATERING SERVICE

It was a cloudy saturday afternoon on June 4th, 2011. The Venue was getting ready to Host another amazing DESTINATION WEDDING.

In this occasion the girls from http://www.utopik.com.mx/ made their magic by making the venue look 100 times more spectacular than usual.
The secret: Wooden floor to cover the sand.
The bride choose orange, pink and yellow as her main colors, to make a certain contrast with the blue turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea.

It was 10 am and everything was getting set UP.
everyone working (including me) like ants to make sure we have everything ready before 430pm.

The table setup had no linens, only plate mats placed under each guests plate.
THIS PHOTO OF COURSE IS ON MY FAVORITE SPOT our ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE sign

I am always during the set up and during the wedding taking shots of everything I might need for my BLOG.

You see I don´t want you to miss a thing. This is how I got this shot from the photographers of the wedding, Chio + James hired http://www.victorherrera.com.mx/

THIS IS A NICE SHOT of the "grooms" photo session before the ceremony starts.

Everyone was ready way ahead of time, the UTOPIK events team really worked hard on every detail for this wedding.

THIS PAPARAZZI shot I took at Tanya Sesma
(one of the wedding coordinators at Utopik)
while giving instructions to one of the guests before the ceremony starts.

Here in another PAPARAZZI shot I catch their florist working out her magic. Thank you Lucy.

And so the ceremony begins. Father Patrick, did a very lovely Catholic ceremony both in english and spanish. For there were guests from mexico (bride) and guests from UK & Australia (groom)

HERE I SPOTED THE EXACT MOMENTO WHERE FATHER PATRICK L.C. IS GIVING THE BLESSINGS TO THE NEWLY WEDS.

And after the Ceremony it was time for the cocktails, they were served at the PALAPA at first because there was a slight rain at that moment. But it went away in minutes and then everyone could go out to the beach on the lounge area.

AND THEN IT WAS TIME FOR THE SKY LANTERNS!!!!!
so everyone started lighting them up and making wishes and they flew wonderfully into the sunset!!!!

THIS WAS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT!!!
This time I wont talk about every little detail like the first dance, the menu or the souvenirs the Bride+Groom gave to all their guests.

I want to talk about the professional talent Tanya & Ale have to handle a wedding with so much stress involved and how even when it rained at times, and people had to go to the palapa and then come out again ... everything went perfect!!!
THIS IS FOR SURE ONE OF THE MOST ELEGANT WEDDINGS WEVE HAD SO FAR IN OUR VENUE... thank you girls great job!!!!!
