A very Olè wedding!!!!

This weekend we hosted another amazing DESTINATION WEDDING in paradise, this time: SPAIN!!!!

ALMA ROSA & FERNANDO

Guests and family members had an amazing day, in one of the most gorgeous locations in Riviera Maya SECRET JEWEL CELEBRATIONS VENUE

It all started with their Legal Catholic Ceremony at the sweet CAPILLA DE SANTA MARIA DEL SECRETO

After the ceremony everyone went to the beach for a great cocktail sunset party, with delicious FROZEN signature drinks by BITTER SWEER MOVIL BAR

Lighting, flowers and details all in HOT pink. Combined with bamboo style chairs and chocolate color linens, gave a very elegant touch to the wedding.

Everyone danced all night and had the party going on until 2am, when the bus arrived and took everyone back to Playa del carmen on a very easy 10minute ride to their Hotel.

We appreciate the support of the Team from BLANC BEACH weddings that did an spectacular job on this trés chic ever.

Italian inspired Dessert Table

I have been hanging out with my Best friend Ivana, she is Italian. Learning the language and the customs of her country. Since we are both going to a wedding in NAPOLS this summer.
Her sister´s wedding. So she is encouraging me to be as italian as possible.

Something that describes an Italian wedding better than anything else is food. So we head out to her favorite ITALIAN Bakery and Coffee shop in Cancun, where we both live and she explains everything about ITALIAN PASTIES.

I figure out its a great idea for your DESSERT TABLE, since it doesn't matter where your Destination Wedding is taking place a little italian inspiration never hurts...

My interview to Ivana:

Italy is all about family. People love to get together in coffee shops called "BAR"
this is a tradition. Specially on weekends people are outside the "bar" waiting for their friends to come by and everybody goes there to meet their friends.

This magical place has amazing coffee and pastries. For example "corneti" a very typical pastry found from the north to the south of Italy, found only during breakfast. "Capresse" a heart shaped bread filled with an almond paste original from Capri. "cantuccini" original from Florence and they are always served with a very fine spirit called VIN SANTO.

Another typical dessert specially from Italy is the famous "gelato" there is no way you can survive an Italian summer with out your Gelato.

My friend

Ivana Locacio (more italian than pizza) introduced me to this Amazing pastry in my home town Cancun, called ISOLA DOLCE.

For her the perfect place to have breakfast, an amazing spresso with a Corneto, for me an amazing afternoon coffee shop where we can talk and drink great lates and enjoy exquisite Italian (original recipe) pastries and desserts.

I really hope you find this desserts as tempting as I did and apply them to your dessert table, you can always do a mini version of them so they can be a cute piece of finger food delicious to indulge any ones sweet tooth.

My fair lady wedding inspiration

I don't know about you, but ME I'm a
HUGE fan of classic hollywood golden era.
The dresses, the glam, the elegance ...

This weekend I watch for the 20th time (more or less)
Audrey Hepburn at MY FAIR LADY

a classic that will never grow old, at least not for me.

But this time I watched it from a peculiar point of view,
yes you guessed right, from my wedding planner's point of view
and the result is amazing inspiration.

Im all in for the elegance and
the romance of the era.

I could not keep my eyes away from her Dresses,
particularly the white one
she wears for the
"Embassy Ball"

I went all crazy about
the dress and told
my whole family,
there you go I think I
found my perfect wedding dress.

Not that I 'm about to marry or anything yet, but
you know us girls,
I couldn't help it
Its just too damn
perfect for me!!!

So I thought I could share a few photos courtesy
of Warner Bros. pictures

I hope you find the dress as inspiring as I did
and well maybe you can pour us some tea
and sip as we enjoy this adorable "Eliza Doolittle"
a simple flower girl become a real
princess.
