ALEIDA & ALEJANDRO

ALEIDA & ALEJANDRO.
I was introduced to Aleida & Alejandro by Aleida´s incredibly talented designer Fidel. He had a great vision about what we could do in our venue with his only sister´s wedding.
Tehy managed to buy bamboo poles and build amazing gazebos with colorfull fabrics in blue tones and desig a very special lounge area for teh after party: DJ SET @ 1am. Brothers and Sisters played an amazing part in this very special event. SInce Alejandro´s brothers were deeply involved as they own a Great Musical Group on Mexico city and flew with all their equipment straight to the caribbean to play for their wedding.

Banquetes margarita provided and excelent service of Food, Beverages & Table set up. They also provided a wonderfull and profesional staff of waiters, bartenders and Maitre that really made it so easy and helpfull for me to coordinate.

Flower arrangements like allways in my coordinated events were provided and designed for this wedding by the most talented girl in Riviera maya & Cancun Flower industry: Elizabeth Rubí.

Hair & makeup played a very important part of this wedding also as Carlos Ballina hair & Make Up Artist inspired by the beauty of Orchids came up with a very simple but sofisticated natural look just exactly for a Beach Wedding like this one.

THIS IS THE BLOG FROM DANIELA AND JOSE @ SWEET CARIBBEAN PHOTO + WEDDINGS. This young photographers inspire love and romance in every shoot.
I highly recomend them and you can check Aleida & Alejandro´s Trash the Dress and Wedding @ our exquisity and unique wedding venue: SECRET JEWEL CELEBRATIONS!!!

THAN YOU EVERY ONE THAT WAS INVOLVED IN THIS GREAT DAY AND FIDEL thank you very much for choosing ME as the coordinator for this wonderfull adventure!

MARCELA & HECTOR (tato)

DESTINATION WEDDING DESIGNED IN BEAUTIFULL BRIGHT COLORS. Flower arrangements provided by Elizabeth Rubí, Cattering Provided by Gisela Aburto & Photography Provided by Carlos Tarango.

When Marce & Tato told me their love story I was sure this was not going to be the typicall wedding, you see flowers play a great part of their love story since Tato (groom) made the his partners in crime. Every Monday Marcela would receive at her office a huge bouquet of flowers designed by Tato. He would call the flower shop and say exactly how he wanted the flowers, color, type and amount.

And after a while Marcela finally accepted to date Tato... and the rest is History!

They were very happy to have their wedding @ Secret Jewel Celebrations, she imediatly fell in love with the place.
We had a great time going to the Hair and make up session @ Carlos Ballina Hair and Make up artist, we took Carlos Tarango every where we wnet his Photographer that came all the way form Chihuahua Mexico, their home town. Marcela didnt want any single detail to be missed!

What I most enjoyed about planning and coordinating this wedding is learning that when a couple is happy and in love they can embrace the little details of life and enjoy them the most.
We had a great time and lots of surprises like the drum show at the beach or the Mariachi suprise Marcela had for Tato just as the wedding party was comming to an end.

Thank you very much Marcela & Hector

Mystical and Mayan WEDDINGS

Different options for ceremonies include MYSTICAL and MAYAN ceremonies:

Mystical ceremonies begin with the Shaman and wife Playing drums and sea shells, the permission and the blessing of the four directions will be asked to the East, the West, the North, and the South, as well as the heart of the Heavens and the Supreme Beings, the heart of the Mother Earth and everything that in her lives, and our own Hearts, the center of Love.

You will be covered with a blanket wich represents the universe covering you.
During this union the Shaman will bless them with the four elements.

The ceremony lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
The music of the ceremony its composed by chants, sonaja, drums and sea shells.
Other elements and movements can be included by the request of the couple.

Mayan Ceremonies :

The Mayan Wedding Ritual is based in the Maya's connection with the universe and their gods, which is described in their sacred book the Popol Vuh, the ceremony brings the couple to the four cardinal points (north, south, east and west) to unite them to the feminine Mother Earth and the masculine Cosmic Energy, symbolized by a central sacred candle.

An altar is created to represent these four cardinal points. Flowers mark these four points and on the altar there is traditional offerings to the Gods - corn, beans, rice, fruit – to represent the gifts of prosperity and fertility. North is represented by red flowers, East with yellow, South with purple, and West with white. Candles are located on the altar on the four cardinal points -- north, south, east and west – to symbolize the presence of the four Mayan cosmos gods.

The center candle unites the feminine and masculine – Mother Earth and Cosmic Energy, the fifth flame - which is lit by the Shaman or by the one he designates. Prior to the ceremony, the area is cleansed at the four cardinal points by the Shaman with the sacred smoke from the Copal tree and the blowing of the ritual conch shell horn.

Family and friends circle around the altar and they celebrate the union of the bride and groom by presenting gifts of flowers, music, food and drink. Mayan music with pre-Hispanic instruments and the sacred conch shell is performed before and during the ceremony.

Traditional Mexican music, such as Mariachis, can continue the celebration after the wedding.
The traditional Mayan wedding feast would include turkey tamales, beans, potatoes and tortillas with plentiful toasts by families and friends with Xtabentun, an anise and honey flavored Mayan liqueur. (Champagne is available as well).

THIS CEREMONY MAY LAST 30 TO 45 MINUTES.

In gratitude for giving the beautiful butterfly its freedom, the Great Spirit always grants the wish. So, according to legend, by making a wish and giving the butterfly its freedom, the wish will be taken to the heavens and be granted. We have gathered to grant this couple all our best wishes and are about to set these butterflies free in trust that all these wishes will be granted. butterfly Release To make a wish come true, whisper it to a butterfly.
