Your wedding SIGNATURE Drink

Riviera Maya Destination Weddings are about FUN and surprising your guests and family with moments that will create the highlights of your event.

According to:
A "signature dish" is a dish that is closely identified with a chef or a restaurant and stands out as a prime example of that person's or establishment's cuisine.
SO WITH THIS DEFINITION IN MIND A Signature drink is
a DRINK that is closely identified with the Bride & Groom, and
represents who they are as a couple and how well they blend together!

So how do you choose your signature drink?

According to professional Bar Tender and owner of
Bitter Sweet Movil bar in Riviera Maya Alejandra Madahuar the easiest way to define your drink is to have a tasting.

Oh how I adore having tastings with her.
We take bride, groom and wedding planners and set up their Movil Bar and they start the magic, and the tasting starts.

What is a cocktail?
A cocktail is a mixed drink typically made with a distilled beverage (such as gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila, or rum) that is mixed with other ingredients. If beer is one of the ingredients, the drink is called a beer cocktail. by Wikipedia

They serve cocktails, margaritas, martinis, frozen drinks with alcohol or virgin. Every color in the rainbow, every flavor you know and the ones you haven´t even tried. You name it and they make it!!!

The Signature Drink selection begins with Ale suggesting the most popular drinks. And she always says we will start with a round of the signature cocktail (mostly frozen) and then we will continue with more flavors and more variety.

Many guests will not change drink, and others will ask for a different one each time. No problem for level of alcohol,
Alejandra and her crew are professional Bar tenders and with this great knowledge on how to keep the party going comes great responsaibility. They will serve the drinks with the standard measures and keep familly & friends safe offering only FIRST CLASS Alcohol.

A very cool idea for your Destination Wedding

I heart NETWORKING

Todays POST is not for Brides or Grooms.
It´s for Wedding planners and coordinators.

The most important part of our JOB is Networking.

According to WIKIPEDIA
Business networking is a socioeconomic activity by which groups of like-minded businesspeople recognize, create, or act upon business opportunities.
A business network is a type of social network whose reason for existing is business activity.
There are several prominent business networking organizations that create models of networking activity that, when followed, allow the business person to build new business relationships and generate business opportunities at the same time.

Now a days Social networking has brought together wedding industry professionals from all around the world.

This is not only helping us lower costs on weddings in another destination, but also keeping expectations high.

If you live in Hawaii and you are a Wedding planner expert on Hawaii weddings and I have a client that wants to get married there It´s easier and better for me and my client that I contact you and we work together
via Skype, email, facebook, twitter, ect...
...than risking to work with the wrong vendors,
plus it will save our brides a TON of time.

Don´t be afraid to TEAM UP! we are all colleagues and we should not see each other as competition but as support.

Wedding planners must work together and be professional.

I LOVE NETWORKING ... and you???

cherry blossom inspiration

My sisters best friend got married this weekend
and I just adored the Cherry Blossom inspired tree they built inside
the room where her dinner party was held.
Under the amazing tree we find the
cake and the candy and dessert table.
Enjoy!!!

Beach Wedding: brake the mold!

We are living in a world full of information.
Wedding related information, promotion and marketing can be confusing.
Sometimes the more you look for things related to your wedding, the more you change your mind, and sometimes you end up right where you started.

So i just want to give you a very important advise about Trends. The way I see it:

It´s important to read, and learn about the trends around the season and the colors that best suit your event.

How ever we are living in the: YOUR WEDDING, YOUR WAY era. At least thats what I see with each wedding; and what it was a must follow beach trend just a few years ago:
Today its no longer a rule to follow.

Brides now look for the authentic look.
They are having more simple and elegant bouquets.
And are definitely breaking the "cocktail dress for beach wedding " trend.

Also not having high heels is another thing that is changing,
a beach wedding doesn`t have to mean less elegance and loose the heels.
This are are some of this years brides and I will only say one came from Italy, the other from Australia and the other from Mexico and they 3 choose to have an amazing long white dress whit the back made of shinny stones.
The best advice I can give you is: BE YOUR SELF. Use the shoes, the dress, the bouquet, the accessories and the hair and make up that you have always dreamed of.
... Regardless the location, the destination, the season and the trend.

Beauty TIP: destination wedding NAILS

I am amazed with my manicure.
Yesterday I went to the salon of the famous Hair & makeUp artist (who Im interviewing later on this week for my Blog) Enrique Vidal and he told me about a manicure that lasts 14 days without having to worry about anything, plus it shines like a diamond. This is how I was first introduced to:
SHELLAC by
Definition.
Shellac is a resin secreted by the female lac bug, on trees in the forests of India and Thailand.
Shellac functions as a tough all-natural primer, sanding sealant, tannin-blocker, odour-blocker, stain, and high-gloss varnish. It possesses good insulation qualities and it seals out moisture.
My advise to all of you Destination Brides
is to get this manicure for your wedding, sit back and relax.
You wont have to worry about your nails during your entire trip, it will last even for the wedding and you will still take it to your honey moon!!! Its amazing I am so happy I tried this product and the best part is IT WONT HARM YOUR NAILS!!!!

If you have never tried this before:
I hope you really go to
your beauty salon and ask to
get this great nail job ASAP, like me!!!
